Arguments
- scbench
an `scbench` object
- max_prop
a float, the maximum proportion of each target population tested
- step
the step between 0 and `max_prop` in a sequence to be tested as limit of detection
- nsamp_per_step
number of samples per step, used for statistics of the results for the calibration curves
- prop_noise_sd
a value for added noise to the different samples generated for each observation
